The RTNielson Co. Ž specializes in telephone interviewing. Our core business centers on collecting accurate, reliable survey data. We manage our own call center with 350 CATI stations and can easily conduct very large-scale telephone studies from this facility. We also provide multi-lingual interviewing.

IVB (Taped Messages)
The RTNielson Ž dialing system allows pre-recorded messages to be played to voters. This same technology can also be used efficiently to deliver pre-recorded information to answering machines. IVB is a highly useful tool that can be effectively employed in many different areas of a political campaign.

CATI Programming
The RTNielson Ž staff of CATI experts program research questionnaires precisely to our clients’ specifications. Simulation disks of all programmed questionnaires are available for client review before any fieldwork begins.

Coding Open-ended Data
After fielding is completed, RTNielson Ž coding experts carefully review the collected data and develop clear, meaningful categories for organizing the responses given to each open-ended question. All responses are then coded into client-approved categories.

Our data processing staff can produce any type of table to meet the needs of specific political polling projects. If you require banners, marginals, cross tabulations or any special request, let our staff know exactly what you need and we will make it work.

Voice Capture Capabilities
Some clients benefit from hearing the verbatim answers to open-ended questions. We make this easy for our customers by recording voice-data digitally in a .WAV file. The data can then be burned onto a CD and shipped to the client. Voice-capture creates a permanent record of open-ended answers.
